Dot is a minimal daily budget tracker for iPhone. It is built and maintained by Ravi Palwe. This policy explains exactly what happens to your information when you use Dot — and the short version is: nothing leaves your phone.

Dot collects zero personal data. No account. No cloud. No analytics. No ads. No tracking. Everything you enter lives only on your iPhone.

Information we collect

None. Dot does not ask you to create an account or sign in, and it does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. We do not have servers that receive your data.

Where your data lives

Any budgets, expenses, and settings you enter are stored locally on your device only. This information is never sent to us or to any third party. If you have iCloud or iTunes/Finder device backups enabled, your Dot data may be included in your own personal Apple device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy — we have no access to them.

Analytics and tracking

Dot contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party trackers. We do not profile you, and we do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking.

Data sharing

Because Dot does not collect your data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose. We do not share your information with any third party for any purpose.

Deleting your data

Your data is yours and stays on your device. To permanently delete all data Dot has stored, simply delete the app from your iPhone. This removes all locally stored budgets and expenses.

Children's privacy

Dot does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Dot after changes means you accept the updated policy.
